Drew Maurice001

Maurice Pongee Drew was born on March 8, 1957 to Warwick and Ruby Drew. Maurice graduated from Linden McKinley High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United Sates Army and proudly served domestically and abroad.

Maurice was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Elvira Drew.

He is survived by his father, Warwick Pongee Drew Sr.; sisters: Lois (Clarence) Glover, Marilyn (James) Talley, Joyce (Terry) Townes; brothers: Billy Drew and Warwick Drew, Jr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Maurice was a private and soft spoken man who loved listening to music. He taught himself to play a guitar with his right hand even though he was left-handed.

My heart goes out to the Drew Family during this time of bereavement. All of us must pass this way on our life’s journey. But remember God Loves and cares for all who received this most precious gift of Life. My Prayer and hope for our family is that we put our trust in Jesus the Christ who has prepared a place for us in eternity a Glorious place where the wicked shall cease form troubling and the weary will be at rest.
