Melvin Walker, 75. Sunrise January 29, 1937 in Logan, WV and Sunset July 31, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. Melvin retired from Mac Tools as a Fork Lift Operator. He was preceded in death by his parents Louise and Robert Walker Sr., sons Allen Webb and Melvin Vonselle Walker, brother Robert Walker Jr., and sisters Johnny Mae Robinson and Elizabeth Ware. Left to cherish his memory, wife of 54 years Bettye Walker, daughters Faythe Walker, Lynn Walker, and Alisha Walker, brothers Freddie (Martha) Walker, Herman (Patty) Walker, and Eddie Walker. sisters Macie Strickland, Elouise Walker and Gloria Getty, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dear Melvin, you were the kindest person i have ever met….We worked together at Mac Tools for yrs and i truly had a friend in you…Everyday i looked forward to coming to work to see your smile and a nod of your head….you helped me through some hard times and laughed alot too…You will be truly missed but always in my thoughts and heart….You touched alot of people and was a pleasure to have met you….Your in gods hands now and in the best place ever…lucky you…..your family must have been good people also coz they were with you everyday as you said….pls say hi to my mother and my late husband we talked about…..You are in alot of hearts and you sure left your legacy with everyone….love you and will see you one day….xxxooo to Melvin's family…i am so very sorry for your loss…he was a wonderful person and friend….you brought joy and happiness to him as he talked about you alot…please accept my condolences and many prayers your way…take care and God Bless….
