Meshach Sirking Orton, age 20. Sunrise June 9, 1996 and Sunset February 13, 2017.
Meshach was a graduate of Africentric High School and was employed at Magic Mountain. He was a member of City of Zion Church where he served with the Youth Ministry, Supreme Sound Media Ministry, and The Temple Guards. Meshach was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. James and Delores Mitchell; aunt Serena Hargrove and uncles Donald Mitchell and James Mitchell. Left to cherish his memory, mother, Wendy D. Orton; father, Gerald Stepney; sisters, Alexandria S. Danso and Arionna Hawkins; brothers, Jamil Stepney, Gerald Stepney Jr., and Malichi Gullick; grandparents, Matthew and Lenora Orton and Roland and Betty Stepney and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation 10:00am and Home Going Service 11:00am Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at The City of Zion Church, 527 Wilson Ave. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
My heart goes out to the Orton family and friends. Meshach was such a joy to service as one of his nurses at school. May God provide His comfort through this difficult time.
