  2. To the family of Michael Hodge…. Praying for comfort and peace to your family .God bless you.

  3. To the family and friends of Michael Hodge, you don’t know me, however, I wanted to take this opportunity to offer my deepest condolences to each of you.

The death of a child can bring all of us much pain and sorrow. May the words found at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 be of comfort to you, it says, “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.”

May each of you allow Gods comforting words to sustain you.

  4. Michael was a joy to have in class. He came in with the brightest smile and the best attitude despite how draining his treatments were. I looked forward to seeing him every day. I know that he is looking down on all of us and knows the love we all have for him. Sherwood Middle School will be less bright without his presence. I am thinking about your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time of significant loss. Michael was a wonderful young man. We were blessed to get to know him when he attended Leawood Elementary School. ~ Jeff and Cheryl Mansell, Seven Baskets Ministry, Partners with Leawood ES

  6. My thought and prayers are with your family. It was an honor to take care of Michael! He always had a smile on his face no matter how he felt! Such a sweet , kind boy! He will truly be missed and will be remembered always!

  7. My heart is with the family. I know too well what it is like to walk with your child through cancer and into the arms of Jesus. My son, Gunnar was treated for DSCRT at Nationwide and went home to heaven Dec 8, 2016. We met at the hospital when Michael was diagnosed and Gunnar made sure we bought Mikey an extension chord bc it was something we found very useful during treatment. I just wanted to reach out and let you know I grieve with you, and I’m hear if you need to talk, pray, or vent with someone who understands. Please don’t hesitate to contact me.

  8. Mrs. Rea and I were so sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. Mom said she will remember his beautiful eyes. I will always remember his smile. He touched many hearts during his short life. We have many warm memories involving Michael.
