Michael Young, age 68. Sunrise September 3, 1947 and Sunset February 12, 2016. Michael was a graduate of South High School and U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a Volunteer at the Veterans Administration and an Ambassador to downtown Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father Alexander Young. Left to cherish his memory, mother Betty Marie Young, daughters Arnetta (Clive) Clarke, Christina Young, Kesha Young, and Chasty Young Tyler, brother Ronald (Marsha) Young, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm, Monday February 22, 2016 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Just think no more pain I met Mike when he moved into the same building that I live. he was always very pleasant and a joy to be around. He will be greatly missed by all
I am terribly sorrow for your loss. I worked with Mike as a volunteer at the VA center for several years and he will be missed.
I will miss Mike he was always a pleasant person from the two yrs I was here Will be missed prayers goes out to the family

Today we are generally grieved. We gather in this solemn place to remember the life and mourn the passing of your loved one and my friend ( Young Brother ). I ask that you would comfort each family member and friend. May you be comforted today by the spoken word, encouraged through happy memories, and sustained by the hope of the resurrection for all who place their faith in Christ Jesus.
