Michael D. Sheridan (Black) passed away peacefully on Friday March 13, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 26, 1954 to the late Vernice Wade and James Anderson, and brother Carl Wade, grandparents Lenora William-Johnson.

Michael grew up in Sylvania Ohio and was the oldest of five. He attended Sylvania High School where he played baseball. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Navy July 23, 1975 to August 18, 1978, where he retired. He was a driver for Meals on Wheels for many years.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Very kind, loving, and compassionate.

Michael will be dearly missed and loved by fiancé, Lula S.; children, Summer Sheridan, Sharon Smith; grandchildren, KenDra’ Ray, Kaniya Warren; sister, Lynn Sheridan, Carolyn Littlefield; brother and his wife Timothy Wade, Tracy Sheridan; special cousin Bernard Anderson (Beattal), Toledo family, nieces, nephews, and friends. Thank you for joining us on this day. Being surrounded by our lovely family and friends has made this day what it is meant to be. A celebration of Love.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery
