Michelle Sweeney

SweeneyMichelle

Michelle Denise (Gary) Sweeney was born in Great Lakes Illinois on May 3, 1973 to the union of Willie and Sandy Gary. Her family showered her with love which was the anchor that allowed Michelle to live a joyful and prosperous life without limits.

Michelle completed her formal education at Bonanza High School in Las Vegas, NV and obtained her CRNA and LPN license in Columbus Ohio. Michelle’s talents and accomplishments were many. Her tenacity made her challenges appear small. She loved and enjoyed her children dearly along with dancing, cooking, singing and building lifelong friendships. She always made time for and helping others without looking for rewards for herself.
She had that focus she learned as a child,
1. keep your eyes on the prize
2. work hard and you will obtain your goals
3. be kind to others
4. don’t go to bed without learning something new that day
5. learn to love yourself

Michelle told her mother she planned to return to school to obtain her RN license and was in the process of making future plans for she and her children. She was the happiest when spending time with her children and friends. Most would never know her challenges were many because she remained active and didn’t let life get her down. She was a fighter, she fought long and hard. She departed this earthly life in her home December 21,2020 surrounded by her loving children.

Willie and Sandy Gary of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister Catrina Gary of Las Vegas, Nevada; children, Terrianna Rapp, Jaylen, Jada, Amoni and Averi Bro of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews throughout the country.
