Miles Jaye Tolliver, age 19, answered the final call of God to come home on Sunday January 26, 2020. He was born July 6, 2000, in Columbus, Ohio.
Miles J. Tolliver graduated from Columbus Afrocentric Early College K-12. From there he attended Columbus State Community College with an interest in the field of Business Management. He also was an employee of Dynamic Way LLC; where he committed to the family business with his oldest brother Andrew Tolliver.
Miles loved his family and friends and was one whom you could call on at any time to talk to. He especially took pride into the role of uncle! He was an amazing uncle and his nieces and nephews greatly look up to their Uncle Miles! Miles dream was to own his own business in the sneaker industry. Miles was a young man with a vision. His motto was “I want to not only live, but to maintain…” His energy will live within the young ones who looked up to him.
Miles is preceded in death by his father, Marcellus Tolliver.
Miles leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Maquita Tolliver; four siblings, Candice Tolliver (sister), Andrew Tolliver (brother), Marcellus Tolliver (brother) and Brielle Tolliver (sister); nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins loving memories to be valued.
Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday, February 8, 2020 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Miles was a irreplacable member of the Camp Hamwi family. He was so incredibly patient, fun, and kind to the children at camp. He will be deeply missed. My heart breaks for you and my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
Miles was my son’s camp counselor at Camp Hamwi the past 2 years. He was an amazing role model and will be missed by so many in the camp Hamwi family!
We were saddened to learn that you are mourning the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort help to ease the pain of your grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My heart breaks for Mom Tolliver as I remember her and her precious son, Miles, when he was young. He was a good friend to my son in elementary school. His smile and good humor brightened my visits to their class.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss our Prayers are with you and your family. I remember Miles as that Handsome little boy running around on the football field at his brother practice ( little league football).

I am heartbroken..I will always remember Miles for his kindness, sense of humor, pragmatism and love & respect for his amazing Mother. He is a student that I think of so often…I will cherish those memories. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

Miles was one of my son’s counselors at Camp Hamwi. He described him as “kind and fun and so good with the little kids.” I am so deeply sorry for your loss. We send our prayers and heartfelt sympathy.

I was very sorry to learn of Miles’ passing. He was a very nice young man, and while we had our trials and tribulations in the classroom, overall he was a very capable and likable student. I hope your family can find some peace.
