Missionary Shirley Cameron, 59, passed away on October 29, 2021. Shirley was born on May 7, 1962 in Gainesville, FL to Deacon Johnnie G. Beard Sr. and Mother Ida Beard.

Shirley was a graduate of Malabar High School and retired from The City of Mansfield Payroll Department. She was a member of New Jerusalem Progressive COGIC where she served as a Licensed Missionary and with the Missions Department.

She is preceeded in death by her mother and her sister, Marilyn Haney.

Shirley is survived by husband, Deacon Oliviera Cameron; daughter Cherise White; stepchildren, Asia Delshamitt, Alex Cameron and Kevon Edmonds; father Deacon Johnnie G. Beard Sr.; sisters, Joyce Jones, Sandra Haney, Udona Beard and Anita Beard; brothers, Johnnie G Beard Jr, Johnnie C Beard Sr. and Michael Beard; grandchildren, Mariah White, Alayna White, and Allyiah Fox; godson, Torrell Phinnessee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 8:00am and Home Going Service 9:00am Saturday November 13 2021 at Maddox Memorial COGIC 1148 Walker Lake Rd.  Interment at Mansfield Cemetery. Repass to follow at United Steel Workers Union Hall.

Such a beautify women of God. I met her when I first came to Mansfield, at Sam’s Club. She greeted me like she had known me for years, we started a conversation, her talk, walk and attitude displayed her testimony as an blessed women, Missionary and friend. she will be missed.
