Morton Leon Neal, age 87. Sunrise February 15, 1932 and Sunset May 13, 2019.
Morton Leon Neal, 81 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2019 at the Continuing Health of Gahanna, Gahanna Ohio. He was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.
He attended Columbus Public Schools and was a veteran of the Korean War. He served honorably for 4 years (1950-1954). He worked at Timken Roller Bearing for 41 years and retired in 1991.
He recently dedicated his life to Christ and fellowshipped with the Elders and staff members from World Harvest Church.
Morton was preceded in death by his parents, Herling and Zelma Neal; siblings, Donald Neal, Richard Neal, Constance Blackmon and brother-in-law, Willie Blackmon. He is survived by his only child, daughter, Sonja M. Neal, sister-in-law, Eyvonne Martin-Neal, and favorite cousin Margaret Poindexter as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family members.
Morton will be sincerely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
