My heart is filled with sorry today. Daisy was a very vital part to my life. As I pulled up her roses on one summer day she screamed at me, but even then I knew she loved me as one of her own. Every time I saw her in my 20′ and 30’s she would always bring up me pulling up her roses. As I write this now even with sorrow in my heart I have a smile on my face.

I love you Daisy, and I send my love to all of the Hood and Shine family.

Thankful that she loved me and all the children in the neighborhood who visited her home. Although it was a long time ago, it seemed like yesterday. I can still see her holding the back door open….smiling and talking to us. Her presence was unforgettable because she was so kind and and (it wasn’t often) that grown ups came out smiling and teasing with the kids❤️❤️. Praying for the family in Jesus Name, Amen.
