LEVINGSTON
Dorothy Levingston, 92, Pataskala Ohio. Went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2015. She was born January 1,1923 in Albany, GA to Tommie and Clarence Williford. She worked as a Seamstress for Walkers Men’s Clothing Store until retirement. She was a member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years where she served as a Church Mother. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Levingston, mother Tommie Williford; father Clarence Williford; brothers: Robert Lee Williford, Clarence Williford Jr., and Cleveland Williford; and sisters: Elaine Williford and Patricia Williford. Mother Levingston is survived by daughters: Deborah Levingston and Cynthia Bradley; grandchildren: Tiffany Levingston, Edward (Randy) Bradley and Robert Andrews; great-grandchildren: Malik Levingston, Jaycyn Tucker, and Randi Bradley. Mother Levingston will lie in state at 4:00pm, family will receive friends at 5:00pm and Home Going Service will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, 858 East Third Avenue. Procession to the burial will depart Triedstone at 9:30 am Monday, June 1, 2015 for 10:00am interment at Union Cemetery. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.

I am so very saddened to learn of the passing of our dear Mother Levingston. She was always so very pleasant. It was always a joy to see Mother attend church. Her quiet demeanor and genuine smile and warmth will be forever missed. My sincere condolences go out to Mother Levingston’s family. She was definitely a precious jewel.
May your memories of Ms. Levingston sustain and strengthen you as you navigate the difficult days ahead. Please accept my condolence.
On behalf of all the neighborhood kids on 4th Avenue, and from 5th Avenue to Reynolds Avenue….thank you Mrs. Livingston for sharing the biggest tree of the biggest red sweet cherries in the entire neighborhood. Cynthia: Thank you for sharing your mom with us at Triedstone Baptist Church she was such a jewel she was always pleasant and she would give Godly advise in love without judging she is missed already just remember God will calm all your fears for the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. My prayers will always be with you.
