Elie Williams, the son of the late Harvey and Caroline Fryar Williams was born September 28, 1935 in Ruffin, SC. On April 13, 2023 at the age of 87, he was peacefully called by his heavenly Father from labor to rest at his earthly residence in Columbus, Ohio.

During his high school years, he was very active in 4H an agriculture, drama club. For a long time, he was remembered as P. Sam (Psalm), a character in his High School Senior play. His driving career began as a school bus driver in his Junior and Senior years of High School throughout Colleton County.

After graduating, he was one of the young men of the day to migrate to the Big Apple State known as New York.
