Gayle A Blackwell, was born on September 4, 1949 in Rendville, OH. On Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 4:28am, Gayle Blackwell a man known to keep to himself yet have an open heart and mind to others passed away at the age of 71.
Gayle is predeceased by his wife, Donnal Butler Blackwell; parents, Thomas A. and Gladys Huges Blackwell; and siblings, Doris Murray, Arbadella Moses, Cecil Blackwell, and Buford Blackwell.
Gayle is survived by three children; daughter, Sonya Millsap and two sons, Antwan and David Blackwell. Sonja is wife to Andrea Millsap and their tow children: Trayvone & Ayana Millsap; Antwan and his tow sons; Trayquan and Pasquile Blackwell; David Blackwell and wife Nichole Blackwell have eight children; Celeste, Christen, David, Jonathan, Camille, Joselyn, Robyn, Terrance, and Joshua and twelve great grandchildren; sisters Nadine Washington and Mary Keels; brothers Franklin Blackwell and Elsworth Blackwell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave. Mask and Social Distancing are required. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.

Condolence and prayers are with the family. Gayle at one time lived in our apartment complex, The Woods an Country Club Rd. Mary & Nadine would come often to check on him.
