Mr. Ghermaine DeShon Glass Sr

Ghermaine D. Glass Sr. was born April 4, 1982 at 7:30 AM to Mary Ann Glass and Will Norah in Columbus, Ohio. On February 12, 2021, the Lord sent down one of his Angels to bring him home to heaven.

Ghermaine grew up in Columbus, and attended Columbus, Public Schools. He received his GED on March 7, 2017, which was one of the happiest days of his life. He was an entrepreneur of many things. He loved growing gardens, collecting cars and shoes.

On October 17, 2020 Ghermaine completed another mile stone of marrying his life partner of 12 years Lavonda.

Ghermaine fought a long battle with leukemia. He always stayed positive and was very strong minded and was determined to beat this, but God had another plan for him.

Ghermaine was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Frank Glass; Grandmothers, Mattie Glass and Nannie Norah; Nephews, Jamel Williams; Aunt, Beatrice Fielder and Mother-in-law, Sabrina Mosley.

Maine was a loving and caring person and leaves to cherish his memories, Wife, LaVonda Glass Children, Malik Womick, Ghermaine Glass Jr., Kennedy Basden, Natalya Womick and Ghermani Glass; Family animals, Princess, Flander, Nuget and Gabe; Mother, Mary Ann Glass; Father, Will Norah; Brothers and Sisters, Stanley, Venita, Michea, Renada, Toneisha, Josheh and Martae; Uncles, Michael and John Glass; Best Friends, Lonzo Doughty, Jamil Sayles as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Private Visitation 12:00 PM and Private Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at Victory Deliverance Church, 1718 Myrtle Ave.. Mask and Social Distancing are required. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. LIVINGSTON AVE.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I can only imagine what you must be going through. Even though we knew that Ghermaine was fighting cancer, nothing ever really prepares us for this! Try to take a little comfort in the fact that our Father in Heaven has brought him home and that we will be reunited again. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
