Mr. John Davis, 57, went home to the Lord on November 20, 2021. John was born on May 1, 1964 in Mansfield, OH to Anne Davis Brent and Lonnie Stokes.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Davis; paternal grandparents, Catherine and Lonnie Preston Stokes Sr and sister in law Carmen “Flukie” Davis.
John is survived by mother, Anne (David)Brent; father Lonnie ( Josephine) Stokes Jr.; sons Adonus Twyman, Zy’Quis Davis and Jakai Davis; sisters, Carmen (Lance) Burns, Davida Brent, Vonda (Shycosta) Pigott, Tara Brent, Niqua Brent, LaTonya (Elias) Palacious, Monique (Nathaniel) Dunson, Shawntoya Barns and Cherrice McClure; brothers Michael Davis and David Brent III; aunts, Yvonne Davis, Evelyn (Robert) Thompson, Lela Jean Stokes, Kay (Elbert) Tyree; uncles, Spencer Davis and LaCosta Davis; godmother, Rev. Loretta Norris; special friend Chrishonda Webb and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 8:00am and Funeral 9:00am Saturday, November 27, 2021 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE MANSFIELD 753 McPherson St. (formerly Williams Funeral Services).
