Mr. Lamar Lucier

Mr. Lamar Lucier age 91 was born to Fletcher and Bertha Foxworth Lusear on May 29, 1931 in
Columbus, Ohio. He was called home Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from the Laurels of Gahanna early in the morning.

He was preceded in death by Parents Fletcher and Bertha Lusear, Sister Ozella Lusear (William) Harris. Brothers Willie, Cottrell (Ruby) & Ed Louis (Mildred) Lucier.

Lamar attended South High School, He enlisted in the US Army in 1950, He was stationed at Fort Brags, North Carolina as a paratrooper (with 75 jumps). He received an Honorable Discharge
in 1953. Lamar was employed at the General Depot for 3 years, Bonnie Floyd Plant for 2 years & Dennison Abex Corporation for 25 years where he was determined disable. He was the
President and member of the Regents Club for many years. Life long member of Clair United Methodist Church’, Chairperson of the Clair UMC Trustees. Served on the Clair SSPRC Committee, a member of the Clair Renovation Committee, a member of the United Methodist Men.He also ushered as a young child beside his father on the door of Clair Chapel on Reeb Ave..

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Jacqueline Jackson, Grandchildren Jewane Lucier, Mario (Lavern) Lucier, Toya (Luther) Green & Enjoie (Tremaine) Royster, 21 Great-Grand Children.
Step-daughters Diane Smith and Sharon White. Special Niece Saundra Spencer and Special Nephew Jerry Jaye. A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, January 6, 2023 at Clair UMC, 293 E. Barthman Ave. Interment with Military Honors at Green Lawn Cemetery. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E.     To My Daddy, I miss you so much but I never thought it would be this way.Dad I will always remember the growing up with you .But I’m so sorry I was unable to get to the service in the physical but I was there with you Virtually ,Thanks to Sandy and The Chapel of Peace Funeral Home.I know you’re in your resting place now and I will see you again .But you have your Wings and I know you are watching over me and Sandy and Jerry still.I Love you so much Daddy my Heart is heavy and eyes are crying for you.But took a piece of me with you,but you are free now Daddy no more pains no more sorrows you are free.
