Mr. Robert Owens, 73, passed away on August 12, 2021. Robert was born on August 26, 1947 in Birmingham, AL to Eugene Owens Sr. and Erma Owens.
Robert was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School class of 1965, enlisted in the U.S. Army and attended North Central State College. He was self employed and enjoyed preparing taxes.
He is preceeded in death by his parents Eugene Owens Sr. and Erma Owens and siblings, Paul Owens, Eugene Owens Jr., Richard Owens, Mary Owens, Carl Owens and Henri Owens.
Left to cherish his memory, children LaRhonda (Ricky) Howard, Brett (Dana) Perdue and Regina (Jimmy) Hart; brothers, George Owens and DaPreis Owens; sister in law, Dorothy Owens; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 8:30am – 9:30am followed by a Private Family Memorial Service at 9:30am at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE MANSFIELD (formerly Williams Funeral Services) 753 McPherson St. Mask are required and Tickets are required for the Private Memorial Service.
