Mrs Bennie Shoulders, 88, passed away on January 31, 2022. Bennie was born on March 14, 1933 in Columbus, MS to Willie and Malissa Curenton.

Bennie retired from White Westinghouse Inc, was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church where she served with the Deaconess, Missionary, Usher and Hospitality Ministries.

She is preceeded in death her husband, John Shoulders Jr; parents, Willie Curenton and Malissa and Johnny Swope and siblings, Doris White, Ann Bond, Mary Smithand Sallie McKinney.

Mrs. Shoulders is survived by her daughter, Venita Shoulders; sons Demone Shoulders and David Jones; sister Carolyn Adkison; brother John (Lynda) Kidd; brother in law, Thomas Bond Sr.; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; special friends, Aggie Howard and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. V

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Thursday, February 10, 2022 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE MANSFIELD 753 McPherson St. (formerly Williams Funeral Services). Interment at Mansfield Cemetery.
