Mrs. Luella Rose Trimble

unnamed 5

The family is saddened to announce that Luella Rose Trimble of Columbus, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 86 on March 31, 2023.
Luella Rose (Borland) Trimble was born to Earl Richard and Loretta Gertude (Schirtzinger) Borland in Gate City, Virginia on August 20, 1937. Luella was a graduate of Chillicothe High School Class of 1955. She was a member of the Chillicothe High St CCCU youth group where she met the love of her life, Bobby Trimble. Luella went on to attend Circleville Bible College now Ohio Christian University. She was joined to Robert Dale Trimble in Holy Matrimony on July 6, 1958. Luella sacrificed finishing her higher education to help Bob finish his college, so they could start their ministry together. Luella’s greatest love apart from the Lord, was her family and her ministry as a Pastors Wife. Luella was a devoted stay at home mom, while serving alongside her husband in ministry as a Church Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, VBS Director, Mission trip coordinator, Director of many cantatas, plays and programs, youth camp co-director, whatever job in ministry that needed to be filled, Luella was willing to do. She is remembered as the Chief Operator of the family RV Travel home, for several months every summer. Her presence will truly be missed and as we reflect on her life she would leave words of encouragement in this scripture.
Whatever you do, work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians’ 3:23-24
