Ms. Toni Denise Carlton, age 61, sunrise February 24, 1962 and sunset March 19, 2023, in Ashtabula Ohio.
Toni accepted Lord as savior early in life. She was a member of People Baptist Church. She was active in the choir and usher board.
Toni Graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1980. She moved to Columbus, Ohio and attended Columbus State University. Toni retired her working career at Nationwide Insurance. Toni was known as a free-spirited person.
She loved to laugh, and she enjoyed watching old school comedy; Andy Griffin show, Jerry Lewis, and I Love Lucy to name a few.
Toni loved to Party! She enjoyed music: LTD, Frankie Beverly and Maze. As a teenager she could pick up the latest dances quickly.
Toni is survived by her parents; Clarence and Erma Carlton, three children; Antonio, Anesha, and Natoria, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grand child, sister; Hattie Marie, brothers; Clarence III, Marcus, Maurice, and Carl.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Clarence and Hattie Carlton, Sam and Ruby Wells. She will be missed and loved by family and friends.
Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.). Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. I’m so sorry to hear that Toni has passed and gone home to be with the Lord , I always adored her kind heart as we both attended Peoples Baptist Church in Ashtabula as young adults , I pray for strength to her family at this time of bereavement.. Rest Peacefully Toni.
