To the family of Naomi Barclay, I am truly saddened at the passing of your Mom(Wanda), grandmother(Shawana), and greatgrandmother(Andreea). I am so sorry I could not be there to help you through this time of loss. Know however that my prayers are with you all.
Know that I understand what you must be feeling and I will not tell you that she is in a better place because you and I know that is just words, but I will tell you this that God is a loving God and though we may never understand all this death and separation from our loved ones, we understand that He is Sovereign He is God and He alone knows the span of our life here on earth.
We also know that He is able to sustain us and keep us even in the loss of those dear to us.
The Bible states “Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid, I go to prepare a place for you and I will come again and take you onto myself”. Grandma is home in her new home God has prepared for her.
I love you all, take courage and God Bless the entire family.
Bev. Draughon (Andreea,s Grandmother).

Condolence from M.L.Hurt on January 7th, 2015 6:50 pm

Very sorry to read of the passing of your dear one Naomi. I was one of her supervisor when she drove the school bus at Fort Hayes.

Life is such a precious gift and yet so short-lived for the time we exist.
We are comforted by the hope of the resurrection.
God holds out this wonderful hope for all those in the grave. At John 11:25 Jesus said ” I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. HE THAT EXERCISES FAITH IN ME, EVEN THOUGH HE DIES, WILL COME TO LIFE.”
Mark 5:38-43 is one of the nine accounts of ones who were resurrected. What a blessed reason to hope in God! ( John 5:28,29)
The gift of your memories of Naomi will bring you great joy and turn into a treasure..
You and yours will receive strength through prayer to God, you wil lfeel comfort by the loving concern of your God-fearing friends, and you will be up lifted by studying God Word,

Condolence from Jack/Shelia Whatley on July 5th, 2021 1:43 am

Naomi was a great co-worker and friend of mine back in 1980 First Community Village. I remember talking her home from work one morning. She was truly outspoken, and kept me and the staff laughing. I was in school and later departed First Community Village, and we lost contact. I have tried to locate her on many occasions, now years later I find that the Lord has called her to rest.i send my love condolences to you family and friends. She’s one of those special people that you just don’t forget. We all had a great time as co-workers and friends that will never be forgotten. I’m saddened by the news, but one thing I know we all can be together again if we turn to God’s Word. It’s in the Bible. I look forward to meeting her again. May Heavens face shine upon you all and give you peace. Naomi was an amazing and beautiful person. Thanks for sharing her with me. Love you all
