Nicki Sanchez McDougald

Nicki Sanchez McDougald was born on November 27, 1971 in Columbus Ohio to Wallace II and Runell McDougald,

Nicki grew up in Columbus, Ohio where she graduated from Centennial High School. As a young child Nicki was very energetic, smart and showed awesome leadership skills, she never had a problem trying to boss her brothers around being the only girls in a house with all boys, she felt she had to exemplify strength, sternness and authority, so that her brothers would not run all over her. Nicki thought she was everybody’s boss; she would give the marching orders to Trey, Desmond, and Monte too when Runell and Wallace were not home. Nicki was a daddy’s girl and loved her dad Wallace dearly.

After High School she was gainfully employed by some of the best top notch employers, and could tell anyone where to find a good job at, we use to kid and say she should start a marketing and job locator firm, because she could sell and market anything and make it sound good. Nicki loved fashion and was a food critic and food connoisseur.

Nicki accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young child and loved serving and helping others. She had such strong faith and trust in God, and no matter what the course of her day was like or the challenges she faced she always prayed and called on the Lord before doing anything. Nicki had a strong faith and knew the word of God. She kept her boys and grandbabies covered in prayer. Nicki had two sons, Brandon and Bradley, who she loved with all that God had placed in her. She was a wonderful mother and an awesome provider she made great and ultimate sacrifices for her two sons. If it was a will Nicki would indeed make a way to get it done.

Nicki preceded in death by her father, Wallace McDougald II.

Nicki leaves to cherish in her memories her two loving and devoted sons, Brandon and Bradley McDougald; two grandchildren, Alani and Braylen; mother, Runell McDougald; three brothers, Lamonte (Monte), Wallace (Trey) and Desmond (Des) McDougald; sister and best friend, Angela Higginbotham; aunts Evelyn and Jewell McDougald; special cousin, Deidre; sisters and childhood friends, Melissa Thompkins and Jada McDaniels; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
