Angela P. Harrison

August 4, 1958 — January 16, 2026

Angela Pakita Harrison, affectionately known as “Angie” was born on August 4, 1958, in Rome, Georgia, to Paul and Dollie Palmer. She took her final flight from this earthly home to her eternal heavenly home on January 16, 2026.

Angie received her education in the Columbus, Ohio public school system. She married the love of her life Murray on July 29, 1988. A woman always on the move, she continued to pour into her community and her family throughout her life. After retiring from Sears, she resumed employment for a time at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She also served faithfully as President of the Arlington Park Civic Association, demonstrating her commitment to service and leadership.

Angie received the gift of the Holy Ghost early in life, and her relationship with the Lord remained steadfast until her final breath. She was a devoted member of the Praise & Worship Teams at Apostolic Faith Temple and Rhema Christian Center, where her anointed voice blessed countless hearts. She also served in various other auxiliaries, always offering her gifts with humility, passion, and excellence.

Angie never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for turning every encounter into a friendship. A natural leader, she stepped confidently into any situation, never backing down from a challenge and always ready to take charge. As the oldest sibling, she embraced her role with pride, purpose, and unwavering dedication.

Even on the other side of glory, Angie is no doubt still organizing, guiding, and ensuring that every detail is handled—having “crossed every T and dotted every I” regarding her wishes and her transition from this life to heaven. To say she mastered financial literacy is an understatement. She was a wealth of knowledge, astute in all aspects of life, and never one to gatekeep. Her honesty was legendary, and her favorite phrase, “KEEP IT REAL,” was both her motto and her way of life.

Angie was fierce when it came to family, often serving as the glue that held everyone together. Wise, witty, and always ready with a sharp comeback; she was a force to be reckoned with. She could shop anyone’s socks off, uncovering the best deals and locating hard to find treasures— sometimes hiding in plain sight at the nearest thrift store. Her talent for finding exactly what others needed was unmatched. She developed a deep love for travel, cherishing special trips shared with loved ones. A true Foodie, she was delighted to explore new flavors and dining experiences with family and friends.

Angie had an uncanny ability to anticipate the needs of others, often knowing what you required before you even realized it yourself. Her vibrant, energetic spirit lit up every room she entered. She was the life of the party, rarely missing a function, and bringing joy, laughter, and connection wherever she went. Angie lived boldly, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on every heart she touched.

Angie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Murray Harrison; her father, Paul E. Palmer Sr.; her brothers, Rick Palmer and Thomas Palmer; and her grandsons, Christian Davion Slattery and Dallas Kash Revels.

Angie’s legacy continues through her devoted children: Aleasia “Nikki” Revels, Shemeka “Mechy” Raiden, and Maxamillion Murray A’von “Max” Harrison. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Devon, Taylor, Alana, Kensel, Phoenix, Diesel, Nova, and Bri’elle; and one precious great-grandchild, Dash.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Dollie J. Palmer; her siblings, Kenneth (Mary) Posey, Cynthia Harris, Paul Palmer Jr., John (Denise) Palmer, Tyrone (Charmaine) Palmer, and Paulette (Kevin) Smith. She is also lovingly remembered by her Goddaughter, Consuela “Reese” Freeman; her cherished sister friend, Patsy Alston, and special crew, Jeanell, Lois, Sylvia, and Jenise.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will forever hold her in their hearts.
