Antwan Demetris “MeChee” Evans, 36. Sunrise March 21, 1975 – Sunset March 25, 2011. MeChee passed away fighting a lifelong illness of Sickle Cell Disease. He was a graduate of Brookhaven High School. MeChee was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Benjamin and Eula Harris, great grandmothers Jessie B. Hunley and Elizabeth Bassett and uncles Larry “Buckskin” Harris and Jessup Evans. Left to cherish his memory, parents Ricky (Mona) Harris, Sr. and Toia Evans, maternal grandmother Barbara Moore, brothers Ricky Harris, Jr., and Rico Harris, sisters Tia Evans and Asia Germany and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
