Barbara Ann Knight (Welch) was born to Rachel (Ellis) Glover and Monte Glover on September 5th, 1953, in Mansfield, Ohio. She departed this life on Friday, June 26th, 2026.7.14

Barbara lived for her family. She was the best daughter, sister, mother, aunt, great-aunt, grandmother (Maw Maw), great-grandmother (G.G.), and friend there will ever be.

Barbara’s life was filled with excitement, travel, and love, and she made lifelong friendships along the way. She will be forever missed.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Rachel Washington and Monte Glover; sisters, Laura Glover and Vivian Todd (Glover); uncle, Richard Ellis; aunt, Lula Belle Ellis; cousins, Joseph Rogers (Jody) and Judith Rogers (Renee); grandson, Dontreal Calhoun; great-grandson, Martonio Wilder; and other departed family.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Erica and Rachelle Knight; niece, Marie Glover; great-niece, Siea Glover; grandchildren, Tashi Knight, James Wilder 111, L. W, Brian Lacey Jr., Mekaela Knight, Matais Knight, Miekuann Knight, Makai Cumpton, Marquail Williamson, Keishann Green, Kiechelle Green, Tico and Tanyada Fountain, James Cain; great-nephews, Dale Glover and Santonio Woodfork; great-grandchildren, Michael Bell, Jatayla Wilder, Jaymile Wilder, DaYonna Wilder, Mikhael Simon, MyShawn Wilder, King Wilder, and Jase’Lynn Wilder; cousins, Mark and Stephon Rogers; (oldest and dearest friend), Shela Bledsoe’; (special and dear friends), Walter Williams Sr. (of the Ojay’s) and Walter Williams Jr.; wonderful friends and neighbors, Arica Fitzgerald (Kimbrough) and family; aunt Sue and aunt Pearl; the whole Wells family; Ashley; and all the lives touched by Barbara on Carpenter St.
