Belinda Lee Piper Marshall, age 64, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on January 17, 2026. She was born in Utica, Ohio, and spent her life building a legacy of strength, care, and unwavering love for her family.
Belinda was preceded in death by her former spouse, David Marshall Sr.; her mother, Mary Jane Gorly; her father, Floyd Piper; her adoptive parents, Oni Anderson, Mary Ann Edgington, and Franklin Edgington; and her grandchild, Native Lee Luciano.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Walker Jr.; her children, daughter Martha Marshall, son-in-law Miguel Luciano Sr., son Phillip Marshall Sr., and daughter-in-law Amber Fannin; and her stepchildren, son David Marshall, daughter-in-law Jaclyn Marshall, son Anthony Marshall Sr., daughter-in-law Tera McCune, and daughter April Buchanan.
Belinda, better known as Nonnie, was a proud and devoted grandmother to Isaiah, Isley, Troy, Phillip Jr., James, Zayn, Dollen, Darius, Brock, Alexis, Anthony Jr., Shakria, Lillianna, and Miguel Jr. Her grandchildren were among her greatest joys, and her love for them knew no bounds.
Belinda dedicated over 40 years of her life as an STNA, providing compassionate care to those in need. Her heart for caregiving extended beyond her profession—it was who she was. Later in life, she also worked as a truck driver for Swift, further demonstrating her determination, independence, and willingness to take on new challenges. She was a strong provider for her family and a woman who defeated many odds, surviving life’s obstacles with resilience and strength.
She enjoyed thrift and yard-sale shopping with her mother, Mary, finding joy in both the treasures she discovered and the time spent together. Belinda was known for her fiery spunk, strong mindset, and nurturing spirit. She was loving, determined, and willing to complete anything she set her mind to. To all who crossed her path, she offered care, honesty, and unwavering support.
Above all, Belinda was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love will be forever cherished. She will always be held high on a pedestal in the hearts of her family and remembered as a woman of strength, survival, and deep compassion.
