She loved to travel and enjoyed many years of bowling. Each morning, Betty could be found with a cup of coffee and her newspaper, and she never missed the evening news.
Betty’s strength was unmistakable. She carried herself with the quiet courage and conviction of a modern-day Harriet Tubman or Sojourner Truth—a woman who was never defined by what others told her to do, but by what she knew in her heart needed to be done. She moved through life with purpose, resilience, and a deep sense of responsibility to those she loved. Her spirit was unshakeable, her compassion unwavering, and her determination an inspiration to everyone blessed to know her.
