Bonnie Ann (Holmes) Wooden 1957-2025

Bonnie Ann (Holmes) Wooden, a beloved mother to four children, age 67, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 7th, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Circleville, Ohio, in 1957 to parents Emma Jean Morrison and Phillip Eugene Holmes Sr.

Bonnie was a devoted mother to Rodney D. Wooden Jr., John M. Wooden, Darren Jacob Wooden, and Anthony Lawrence Wooden, her pride and joy. She often shared how much she loved her children, and they felt that love and support in everything she did. Bonnie took special joy in being a grandmother and treasured the memories of spending time with each of her grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Emma J. Morrison and Phillip E. Holmes, as well as her sister, Jaqueline Holmes. She is survived by her children, Rodney Dewitt Wooden Jr., John Maurice Wooden, Darren Jacob Wooden, Anthony Lawrence Wooden, her many grandchildren, and her siblings, brother Phillip E. Holmes and sister Billie Harris, who will never forget the love she brought into their lives.
