Brandi Renee Green, age 42, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on May 30, 2026. While her passing was sudden, her life was full of light and love.
She was born on December 9, 1983, in Columbus, Ohio, to Greg Croft and Deborah Green. Brandi spent her youth growing up between Connecticut and Columbus, ultimately graduating from Brookhaven High School in 2002.
Those who knew Brandi will remember her for her beautiful smile. Whether she was spending time with her family or around her friends, she brought humor to everything she did. She simply loved people and considered so many to be family, blood or not. Yet, she was always most at home when she was with her daughter and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her only Child: Aaliyah Odoms; her three Grandchildren: Jaysir Johnson, Montego Salmons, and Jaylyn Salmons; and her Mother: Deborah Green. Also remaining to honor her life are her Siblings: Victoria Neal, Anthony Green and Charmar Green; her Paternal Grandmother: Viola Croft; and her Maternal Grandparents: Billy (Princess) Green and Charlene Younger. Holding a special place in her heart is her Niece: Saleema Ross. She further leaves behind a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
She was reunited in death with her beloved father: Greg Croft; her grandfather: Ernest Croft; her step-grandfather: Dwight Younger; her uncle: Steven Croft; and her nephew: Maurlee Johnson. The family finds peace in imagining her reunited with her best friend: Brenda Sullivan, and having that party in heaven.
Family and friends are invited to a public visitation on Friday, June 26th, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Chapel of Peace, 5456 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232. A celebration of life to honor Brandi will take place at a later date.
