Brenda Sue Reid

Brenda Sue Reid, (Susie) began her sunrise August 4, 1947, and enjoyed 77 trips around the sun, to meet her sunset on May 30, 2025.Brought into this world by the Rev. Fred Lambert Sr, and Winona Josephine Reid, whom both have already journeyed home.

Brenda only had one special friend, and they brought into the world Misty Dawn Reid, who has also has met her sunset. Misty, with special friends, brought into this world Brenda’s surviving grandchildren, Melina Shabazz, Mikayla Reid, Jaleel and Jerome Dillard.

Maturnally, Brenda joins her older sister, Linda Lou Scott, and nephew Andre C Scott. Surviving nieces and nephews Anray A Scott, Andrew G Scott, and Andrea L Scott. Younger sister, Johanna Kristine Reid-Troxler, nieces and nephews Bruce H Reid, Tiara D Reid, Angell M M Troxler, and Dale L Troxler Jr (Courtney), and many great nieces and nephews. Finally, baby brother and caregiver, Glen E Reid.

Paternally, Brenda is survived by brothers and sisters, Phillip R. Lambert, Rev. Fred Lambert Jr. (Ruby), Alvin L. Lambert (Harriet), Rev. Michael E Lambert (Debbie), Monda I Lambert-Thomas, Ramona F Lambert-Osborne, Gregory A Lambert, Issac W Lambert, and again, a host of nieces, nephews and greats.

Brenda will be missed by many, many friends, co-workers, and people she encountered on her long journey. It is said she knew someone everywhere, and was no stranger to hard work. She traveled to many places, and left behind many smiles.
