Carlos Jay "Bear" Anderson was born April 5, 1982, in Camp Lejune, NC. Carlos passed away unexpectedly, March 16, 2026, at home. Carlos graduated from Mansfield Senior High School, Class of 2001. He was employed as a Correction Officer, with the State of Ohio, at M.A.N.C.I, for 17 years, and truly loved this position.
Carlos enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, driving his drop top 2004 Mustang, and fishing with his dad on the pontoon boat. Carlos loved to barbecue and enjoyed competing against his family for the best barbecue, which was a full blown event with shirts for each team member. Carlos proudly won the last event, after years of competing.
Carlos was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Adam Ringold and Lee Esther Anderson, maternal grandfather, Alphonso Weems, father James Fountain, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Carlos leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tearwanna (Teri), sons, Jayden, Thaddaeus, and Nehemiah; his parents, Carlos J. Anderson, Durena (Weems) Fountain, and Martha Kyser; His grandmother, Willie Mae Weems. Additionally, Carlos leaves his siblings Andrea Creer, Christian Anderson, Carlos (Little) Anderson and Wesley (Renee) Kyser. Carlos has several nieces who will miss him dearly, Olivia, Mardiella, Gabrielle, Zoey and Amyia. He also leaves to cherish his memory, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
