Carolyn Denise Mustin

Carolyn Denise Mustin was affectionately known as a loving mother, grandmother, caregiver, and friend. She was born on October 27, 1977, in Xenia, Ohio. She departed this life on August 31, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Carolyn was a woman who could bring laughter into any room. She was goofy, playful, and full of personality, and her contagious laughter was something her family will never forget. She had a way of making people laugh, and her children proudly admit that they got their own goofiness from their mama.

But Carolyn was also a hard worker with a heart for caring for others. She worked as a state-tested nursing assistant (STNA), dedicating herself to helping and caring for others. Her caring nature extended beyond her profession, as she also devoted herself to taking care of her family, including her mother and her sister, Constance Mustin, who also passed away.

Carolyn was also known for her incredible cooking. Her ability to make a delicious meal was something her family cherished, and her daughter Melody proudly carries that love of cooking with her-a gift passed down from her mama.

While Carolyn could make everybody laugh, she was still a mama at heart. She had "that mama look"- the kind that could quiet the whole room without her having to say a word. Her children know that look well.

Carolyn leaves to cherish the memory of her five children: Melody Taylor, Jaylin Mustin, Antwan Mustin, Desmond Mustin, and Faith Mustin, and her six grandchildren. She also leaves behind extended family, friends, and countless people whose lives she touched through her love, laughter, kindness, and caring spirit.

Rest peacefully, Mama; your work here is done; your children will carry your love, your laughter, and a piece of you wherever they go. You will forever be missed and forever be our mama!
