Charlene E. Sullivan entered this life on February 12th, 1957, to the parents, Dr. Charles T. Sullivan and Queen E. Sullivan. She is survived by her Daughter, Angel R. Rice, Sisters Margo C. Sullivan, Cynthia T. Sullivan, Her Favorite Nephew Quan L. Sullivan, Arman D. Sullivan, and Carson R. Sullivan. Charlene is also survived by relatives Mark Bell, Maurice Bell, Kathy & Curtis Williams, Connie & Alan Pitts, Nancy Nowlin, Carlton Nowlin, Buddy Nowlan, Pat Hairston, Buttercup Hairston, Russel Hairston Jr., Brenda Potts & Ann Wilson, Kay Hairston, Keith Hairston, and Lisa Hairston.
Charlene graduated from East High School in Columbus, Ohio, in the class of 1975. During her time at East High School, she was immersed in student council, where she thrived, and attended The Columbus Public Vocational Career Center for Distribution Marketing and Sales, where she also served as President of the class her senior year. After graduation, Charlene attended The International Fine Arts College in Miami Beach, Florida, where she earned her Associate's in Fashion Merchandising. During her time in Miami, Charlene was also chosen as The Jet Beauty of the Week for the Month of June, where she was titled the Sunshine Girl. After graduating in Miami, Charlene moved to Los Angeles, California, where she also attended The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design.
During her life, she also served as a supervisor at Huntington Bank and, following in the footsteps of her mother, Queen, earned a Managing Cosmetologist Degree from The Ohio State School of Cosmetology. Charlene enjoyed traveling to places like Spain, Morocco, Florida, California, and New York City. Her hobbies also included shopping, decorating, visiting the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Charlene was a very popular and friendly person, known for being a sharp dresser who loved giving advice and helping others whenever she could. Despite her amazing accomplishments in life, her greatest accomplishment and joy was her daughter Angel Ray Rice, whom she adored, loved very much, and was/is extremely proud of her accomplishments. Her daughter was/is her grand prize in her life.
Charlene has now entered a divine life and will be loved, cherished, and missed.
