Charles James Holliday (KA$H) born March 2, 1989. His life was tragically taken Monday, August 10, 2026 to gun violence.

Charles was very intelligent. At a young age he was an honor roll student, in the gifted youth program. He aspired to be a businessman, have his own trucking co & make music. Throughout his adolescence he faced my challenges that we addressed throughout his life.

Charles rapped, he wrote songs. He was a lyrical genius. A musician, an artist.

Charles connected with a variety of people. He was a leader, a brother, a mentor, our brother was everything, the centerpiece. He was so strong and courageous. His ambition was out of this world.

Charles was definitely a headache but he was our headache & boy his breathe be kicking.

Charles was a protector, he was not to be messed with. He was a gentle giant with a kind soul. The talks we had especially when those calls came through when he had to sit down, not to mention the disputes over some of his choices, my son kept us on his back, but Charles was his own man on a journey to rehabilitation. He was going to make a difference.

Charles became a father in his late 20’s. He loved his children.

Charles was the 2nd born of four & gained several siblings throughout his life. Big brother to some, lil brother to others. Charles was a survivor, he survived everything except being shot in the back of the neck while his back was turned. He was a warrior.

Charles knew the Lord and is a child of the Most High. May he rest now comfortably with the Lord. Charles was a man we all loved and will never forget.

Proceeded in death by grandfather Clarence Gossett Jr., grandmother, Mary Henderson. Father, Roosevelt Henderson, Aunt Tregenia McCrary, God-sister, Brooklyn Summerall.

Survived by grandmother, Linda McCrary, mother, Tonya R. Holliday, children, Malaysia Holliday-Moore, Messiah Holliday-Moore, Mi’ Kyng Moore.

Siblings, Antoine Holliday, Isaac Holliday, Tyler Holliday, Rica Mitchell, Roosevelt Bradford, Rayshawn Moore, God-siblings Shaniqua Peck, Devon Peck, Sabrina Peck, Kesha Johnson, Johniqua Strother.
