Christine Thomas

Christine Thomas was born to proud parents, Frank and Susie Shelton. She departed this life on September 15, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.

Christine attended school in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She cherished her relationship with God. She was a faithful member of Traveler’s Rest Baptist Church, where she served as a mother of the church, Deaconess, and a faithful choir member. Christine served as an Eastern star for many years and she was involved in various community service projects. Christine retired from Nationwide Insurance, where she worked many years as an Administrative Assistant. Christine’s greatest treasure were her two sons, Frank and Christopher, whom she dedicated her life to. Christine enjoyed singing gospel hymns and playing the organ and she was a seamstress for many.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Thomas; son, Joseph Camron; sisters, Emma King, Modestine Faison, Mary Hester and Maurene Frye; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Christine is survived by her beloved children, Frank Harris and Christopher Harris; grandchildren, Shaun Morgan and Jerod Harris; sisters, Lucy Dillard, and Dyrica Johnson.

Christine will be forever missed by all to have the privilege of knowing and loving her.
