Christopher Reed

April 2, 1978 — August 30, 2025

Christopher Aarron Reed, born April 2, 1978, and sunset August 30, 2025, was born to Alvin Terry Reed and Cynthia Diane Wagner in Springfield, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his sister Nicole Sharee Reed, paternal grandparents Jesse Reed and Eddie Mae Reed, maternal grandparents Eddie (Banjo) Wagner and Joann (Billy Jo) Wagner, and his nephew Ayden Reed (son of Timothy and Leeza). Along with his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory his sister Jennipher (Vincent) Brown and their children Kadijah Reed, Inaya Brown, and Vincent "Tre" Brown III; his brother Timothy (Leeza) Reed and their children Amir Reed and Amarion Reed; his great-nephew Raheem House Jr. (son of Kadijah); and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Reed and Wagner families.

Chris was a lover of life and did not believe in shrinking. He was a lover of everyday people, finding joy and friendship among many. He was most widely known for his music and artistic abilities. He played tri and quad percussion for both North and South High School marching bands. Few knew his first instruments were the cello and slide trombone, with the ability to play all of his instruments both by note and by ear. Although certified in HVAC, he spent most of his adult life with the luxury of self-employment as a tattoo artist. Always a free spirit, he believed in being deeply curious, perfecting your crafts, keeping things simplistic, and enjoying laughter.

Chris did not have a spouse or children of record, but was surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly and who will miss him immensely. A special mention goes to his best friends and lifelong brothers, Ashanti Cherry and Michael Brown Jr. (Mike B).
