Clair "Tim" White Sr., 84, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on September 17, 2026. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on March 5, 1942, to the late Robert White and Julia Dozier.
Clair moved to Springfield in the early 1980s to be with his wife, Priscilla White, and they shared a happy life together until her passing in 2001. He will be remembered as a devoted family member whose love and presence will be deeply missed.
Clair worked at General Motors, Muncy Corporation, Springfield Arts Museum and a few other places before moving to North Hill 2 Towers in 2008 where he performed, he last job as a security officer. Clair loved to cook, creating meals that became great memories for his family members. He loved listening to blues and one of his favorite songs was "Down Home Blues" by Z.Z. Hill.
He is survived by his brother, Ronald White; his children: Clair White Jr., Ellison Jackson, and Demetria S. Fields; a granddaughter, Michelle Brown who insured that he was properly taken care up until his passing and stepchildren: Michael Brown and Dianna Brown. Clair also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, who will continue his legacy and keep his memory alive with love.
Clair was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Julia White; his wife, Priscilla White; his sisters, Roberta Horton, Regina Williams, and Joyce Woods; his brother, Robert White Jr.; his twin brother, Clyde White; his stepson, DeWaine Brown, and stepdaughter, Terria Pendleton.
