Crawford Dennis

Crawford Dennis peacefully departed us on September 26, 2026. He was born on January 24, 1940, in Eatonton, Georgia, to Emma and Jake Randall.

Crawford was a hardworking man who spent many years working in construction. His journey took him from Georgia to Fort Myers, Florida, where he continued his construction career and built a life for his family. In the 1970s, he and his family made their way to Columbus, Ohio, which became home. There, Crawford continued working and retired from Southern Masonry construction company.

Family was an important part of Crawford's life. He shared 67 years of marriage with his loving wife, Emma Dennis. Together they built a beautiful life, raised 7 children, and created a lifetime of memories through more than six decades of love, family, and devotion to one another.

Crawford was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Jake Randall, Sisters, Jessica Lawson, Julia M. Lester, brother Arthur Randall, and his two children, Carrie Ann Dennis and Walter Lee Dennis.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 67 years, Emma Dennis; his 5 children, Pecola Evans, Sarah (Earl) Galloway, Jessie (Lynn) Dennis, Linda (Gene) Barton, and Gail (Cornelius) Prysock, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and family and loved ones who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Crawford will be deeply missed, but the years, stories, lessons, and memories he shared with his family and friends will remain with them for generations to come.
