Dana Henry, a cherished son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on November 27th, 2025, at the age of 22.
Dana was born on June 23, 2003, in Columbus, Ohio, to his loving parents, Dexter Henry and Ava Keels. From an early age, Dana had a vibrant spirit, a warm heart, and a smile that could transform the atmosphere of any room. Deeply family-centered, he held those he loved with unwavering care and devotion.
Dana attended South High School and East High School. He had a profound love for music, pouring his creativity and soul into the sounds that inspired him. His passion for music mirrored the passion with which he lived his life.
In recent years, Dana has intentionally strengthened his relationship with God and deepened his walk with Christ. His faith shaped the way he treated others—with compassion, gentleness, and genuine kindness.
To all who knew him, Dana was a bright presence. He had the extraordinary gift of making people feel valued, seen, and uplifted. His smile alone could brighten even the hardest days, and his joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
Dana also enjoyed cooking and roller skating, embracing life with curiosity, humor, and heart. His journey ended far too soon, yet his warmth, his joy, and his light will echo on in the hearts of all who cherished him.
He follows in heavenly rest behind his grandfather Raymond (Ramona) Henry Sr., his grandfather Neil A. Keels Sr., his great-grandfather Jay Robinson, and his great-great-grandfather John (Farries) Brown, along with other loved ones who welcomed him home.
He is survived by his loving parents, Dexter Henry and Ava Keels; his grandparents Raymond (Gay) Henry Jr. and his grandmother Pearlie Keels; his siblings Kennedy Billups, Daisha Henry, Nicoli Williams, and Davion Henry; his aunts Ramona Henry, Alfie Weathers, Lolita Robinson, Mon-Aimer Keels, and Brandilene Keels; his uncles Charles Henry, Raymond Henry, Devon (Colonia) Henry, Neil Keels Jr., and Kevin Nathan; and his cousins Farries Robinson, Donnakaren Johnson, and Jordan Clemmons, along with numerous cousins and extended family members who loved him dearly.
