Dana Vann

Dana Lavelle Geovanni Vann, son of Dana Allen and Stacy Vann, was born on October 29, 1989, in Cleveland, Ohio. He departed this life unexpectedly on July 5, 2025.

In his early years, he was educated in the Cleveland Public School System. After his family moved to Columbus, Ohio, Dana attended the Columbus Public School System. He received his G.E.D. in 2011. Dana was seeking to improve himself and his family, enrolling in the American School of Technology, where he graduated with a diploma in HVAC. After graduation, Dana was employed by Edward’s Properties from 2018 to 2020 as a Management Supervisor. Dana started his own company in 2020, “Sticky Bud Bandits.” Dana studied Cannabis Horticulture, becoming a certified professional grower, traveling, and attending various conferences and events.

Dana met Amanda Piwinski, his wife, in 2009. She was the love of his life, his helpmate, his soul mate. They married in 2019. To this union was born one son, Nathan. The couple raised Dana’s other children Nevaeh and Dana Jr, affectionately known as Jr. Dana was a loyal and devoted husband and father.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Dana Allen, his paternal grandmother Christine Allen, his maternal grandmother Phyllis Vann.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife, Amanda, a best friend and loving mother Stacy Vann, his children, Naveah, Dana Jr, and Nathan, his siblings Tyreese (William), Phylicia (Augustine), Bennie (Juwanna), Payton Allen, Olivia Allen and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He will forever be remembered for his confidence, kindness, forgiving heart, and beautiful smile.
