Danny Howard Sherrod

Danny Sherrod, 53 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on April 8, 2026. With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle who fought a good fight and finished his race with strength, faith, and love.

Danny was a man deeply rooted in his love for God, living his life as a reflection of his faith. Whether through quiet moments of prayer or joyful praise, he found his greatest peace in his relationship with the Lord. His passion for music was one of his many gifts, and he shared it generously, playing in multiple church bands where his talent and spirit touched countless lives. Through every note, he gave glory to God and lifted the hearts of those around him.

He was a devoted father whose love knew no bounds, a caring brother who stood strong beside his family, a cherished son, and a fun-loving uncle who brought laughter and warmth wherever he went. His presence was a blessing, and his memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He also had a deep love for his Pittsburgh Steelers, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. Win or lose, his loyalty never wavered, just another reflection of the steadfast spirit he carried throughout his life.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing he is now at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord he loved so dearly.

Danny is survived by his Parents: Howard and Brenda Sherrod; his Daughter: Maddie Sherrod; his Sister: Teresa and Darrel Thronton; his Brother: Mark Sherrod; his Nephew: Caleb Sherrod and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

"Well done, good and faithful servant."

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
