Darryl Lynn Moore Jr

Darryl L. Moore Jr: 50, of Springfield, Ohio, departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2026. He was born June 29, 1976, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Darryl L. Moore Sr. and Susie (Howell) Moore.

DJ's year-round Love of tennis, winning his 1st trophy at the age of nine years old. He also received a Tennis Scholarship to Sinclair University of Dayton, Ohio. His love for his family was unwavering; he loved to call his little cousins "Meatheads."

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles F. Howell, Sr and Barbara Church Howell, and paternal grandparent Jack D. Moore.

DJ, as he was fondly called, is survived by his parents and one brother, Alan (AJ) Moore; nephew, Andre; niece, Alyssa Moore; paternal grandmother, Lucile H. Moore; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He will be missed by all his family, who loved him.
