In Loving Memory of Desiree Chisholm
Desiree Chisholm, age 65, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and vibrant living that will forever be cherished. Born in Saint Petersburg, Desiree later made her home in Ohio, where she raised her family and built a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting friendships.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents: Leon and Lois Chisolm.
Desiree was a strong, loving woman who was truly the rock of her family. She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, a caring sibling, and a loyal friend. She loved her family deeply-especially her daughter, grandchildren, life partner, friends, and her beloved dog, Sugar, who brought her so much joy.
Desiree worked at Dirty Dungarees and held several bartending positions over the years, where she made countless friends. She later worked at Geodis, where she continued to build meaningful connections and friendships that lasted a lifetime.
She found joy in the simple things-crocheting, shooting pool, cooking, and making people laugh. Desiree was known as a wonderful cook, especially for her seafood, egg rolls, and pepper steak. Cookouts were her favorite time, as they allowed her to bring family and friends together, something she treasured deeply. She always took care of her family by any means necessary, showing unwavering love and strength.
Desiree leaves to cherish her memory; her loving Brother: Gerald Chisolm (Marva Chisolm); her Sister: Tanya Chisolm; her Beloved Child: Nichel Chisolm; her treasured Grandchildren: Granddaughter, Janiya and Grandson, J'Leon; her devoted Life Partner: Melvin Walker; and her Cherished Pup: Sugar. She also leaves behind Special Friends: Dianne Smoak, Vanessa Cannon, Martha Riley, Tanya Gunnell and Ramona Barksdale along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many dear friends.
Desiree Chisholm will be remembered as an awesome person whose love, laughter, and spirit touche
