Dominique Ontario Brown, age 36, of Memphis, Tennessee, transitioned from this life on December 15, 2025.
Born on June 14, 1989, Dominique was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was known for his dedication to his family, strong work ethic, and the way he showed up for those he loved. He was also known for his quick wit and unforgettable sense of humor, often bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Dominique enjoyed photography, traveling, theater, and long car rides with his wife, especially seeing plays and working behind the scenes on productions, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Dominique accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Life Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, under the leadership of Pastor Martin Y. Harris. He later became a faithful member of The Word Church of God and Christ, International, under the leadership of Pastor Eddie Parker III, where he faithfully served in the media ministry, using his gifts to support the work of the church and its mission.
Dominique was employed by JPMorgan Chase as an Associated Process Improvement Specialist , where he was respected for his professionalism and commitment. He furthered his education by attending Wilmington University, where he studied Media Communication online, pursuing his passion for creativity and media.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosemary Brown, and his great-grandmother, Maggie Curtis.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, La’Niece “Brittani” Pierce; his cherished son, Ari Brown, and his cherished daughters, Amari Brown and Journee; his mother, Shazelle Brown; his father, Ronnett Dodson; his siblings, Denita Robinson, Vincent Brown,Brittni Shackleford, Amir Dodson, Makayla Dodson, and Kyri Pennimon; his nieces, Joelle Brown, Jordyn Brown Charrli’rae; his aunts, La’shonda Dockery, La’Rhonda Ward, Tanika Spight, and Anita McGhee; his uncles, Ralo Brown Jr. and Calvin McGhee; his grandfather, Ralo Brown Sr. ; his mother-in-law, Ravon Pierce; Father-in-law Carlton Pierce; his sisters-in-law, Ashley ( Marcus Grace) and Karla ( Dathan Harris); his best friend, Thomas Bolden (“TJ”); along with a host of extended family members, church family, friends, and loved ones.
Dominique will be deeply missed, yet his legacy of love, faith, laughter, creativity, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
