Donald "Donnie" Bivens

Donnie was born April 26, in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 to Raymond and Patricia (Dixon) Bivens. Donnie was one of five children in this union.

Don had a peaceful smile on his face when he departed this life into Gods eternal life July 28, 2025.

Donald spent most of his childhood life growing up in Columbus, OH. He attended the Columbus City Public Schools and graduated from East High School in 1969.

Donnie was employed at several restaurants as a cook, and a chef for a Skilled Nursing Home for seniors on Bryden Rd for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Donald Bivens; mother, Patricia Bivens; grandparents, Sonny and Mary Bivens; brothers, David and Johnny Bivens.

He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Donald Bivens, Jr; and daughter Sirita Bivens; brother, Kenneth Bivens; sisters, Olivia Bivens-Taylor, Stephanie Bivens-Harris, Chrystal Edgington, Robin, Sherri, Shelli, and Pam Bivens; his grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; A special love of his life whom he truly loved and adored, Adrienne Woods.
