Donald Ray Feagin Sr

Jul 16, 1952 — Apr 27, 2026

It is with profound sadness and boundless love that we announce the passing of Donald Ray Feagin Sr., who departed this life on April 27, 2026. Born in Andusia, Alabama, on July 16, 1952, Donald's life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and the enduring power of family.

Donald proudly served his country as a U.S. Army Veteran in the esteemed 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree and built a successful career as an engineer. A man of many talents, he found great joy in working with his hands, whether he was fixing something broken or creating something new. When he wasn't working, Donald could often be found with a fishing pole in hand, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the water. Beneath his strong exterior was a true "hopeless romantic" who loved deeply and cherished the connections he shared with those around him.

Family was the absolute cornerstone of Donald's world. He leaves behind a remarkable legacy through his surviving children: Jamie Jones, Donald Feagin Jr., Keith (Camilla) Feagin Sr., Dawn Feagin, Ulee Feagin, Monique (Olufemi) Feagin, JD Feagin, Donald Ellis, and Broderick Petty. He will be deeply missed by his devoted siblings, Walter (Cynthia) Bohnam, Cassaundra Chester, and Willie (Andrea) Chester, as well as an incredible 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will proudly carry his memory forward for generations to come.

Donald is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents, Jd Bohnam, Vivian Chester (Feagin), and Willie Chester; his siblings, Louis, Frank, and James Bohnam, Dan'neice Johnson, and Janice Collier; and his beloved daughter, Martha Jones, who preceded him in death.

The profound impact he left on his family is beautifully captured in a heartfelt tribute from his son, Keith: "In Memory of my Dad. I watched you suffer, I saw you fade. I prayed for strength as farewells were made. You went away. We had to part. God erased your pain but broke my heart. I'm going to miss you dad. Love, Keith."

Donald Ray Feagin Sr. will be remembered for his strength, his honorable service, his tender heart, and the unwavering love he gave to his family. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
