Edward A. Yates, 79. Sunrise November 11, 1930 – Sunset November 8, 2010. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War and retiree of Columbus City Schools. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mable Yates, wife Josephine Yates, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Left to cherish his memory, sons Artega and Dartangnan Yates, daughters Judy Perez and Brenda Hunter, siblings Robert (Dorothy), Kenny (Rosa) and Tonya Yates, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
