Edward Lee Dorsey Jr.

Edward Lee Dorsey, Jr., affectionately known as "Eddie," transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.

Born on October 28, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, Eddie was a proud graduate of Mifflin High School, Class of 1986. He was a man who truly never met a stranger. His fun-loving spirit and contagious laughter could brighten any room, and he was a natural listener who offered constant support to those around him. Above all, Eddie prioritized his wife and daughters in everything he did.

Eddie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward Lee Dorsey, Sr. and Marie Howard Dorsey.

Eddie's vibrant legacy will be forever cherished by his devoted Wife: Tabitha Dorsey. The couple was preparing to renew their vows on May 8, 2026, but the Lord had other plans. He also leaves to honor his memory his Children: Lakeshia Dorsey; Alana Dorsey (Tina Long); Valencia Turner (Kirk) and Joshua Williams. He is further survived by his Sisters: Sonji Dorsey McNary and Chanta Dorsey Trout (Tony Trout); and his twelve Grandchildren; who were his pride and joy: Javeon Berry, Nyasia Miller, Niko Miller, Jr., Legend Moore, Kevin Williams, Kenneth Turner, Kavon Turner, Amirreya Turner, Indica Williams, Joshua Williams, Jr., Emery'Kay Williams, and Ava'Kay Williams and Nieces: Brianna McNary and Mikayla McNary who he cherished and loved deeply.

Eddie will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

He was widely known as a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Anyone who knew Eddie knew his Dallas Cowboys truck-friends would drive by and say, "Yo Eddie D, I see you!"
