Edward Earl Hayes
June 3, 1952 — August 1, 2024
Edward Earl Hayes, was born to the union of the late Luther S. Hayes, Sr. and Elvy M. Hayes on June 3rd, 1952. He transitioned to his final resting place on August 1, 2024. Eddie, as he was affectionately known, is preceded in death by his parents, Luther, Sr. and Elvy Hayes, siblings; Gilford B. Hayes, Rickey P. Hayes, Sylvia L. Hayes-Parks, Jessie M. Hayes-Betts, Sheryl C. Hayes-Malone.
Eddie is survived by his only child and namesake, Edward Earl (Candace), Hayes II, brothers; Luther S. (Frinzine) Hayes, Jr., Charles Hayes, Derek (Valerie) Hayes, sisters; Elvy "Ros" Hayes and Katrina "Tina" Hayes.
Funeral services are entrusted to Marlan Gary Chapel of Peace - East Chapel, 5456 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH. Services will be held on August 10, 2024.Visitation 10am, Service at 11am.
